Christopher W. Niro

Christopher W. Niro advises founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and mid-market companies on protecting, commercializing, and monetizing their businesses and brands. His practice spans intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, litigation, and capital advisory, providing clients with a comprehensive legal and strategic advice.

Chris co-founded Niro Law Group in 2016 and later helped lead the Intellectual Property practice at Aronberg Goldgehn Davis & Garmisa in Chicago, where he was recognized as a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers. In addition to his legal practice, Chris was most recently Chief of Staff of Amplify Capital Group, a private investment and M&A advisory firm. In this role, he was deeply involved in M&A transactions, growth capital raises, and strategic advisory services across industries, with a focus on consumer services, SaaS, commercial real estate, and emerging companies.

• Secured seven-figure relief in copyright, trade secret, trademark, and unfair competition matters; developed global enforcement and licensing strategies for brands in consumer products and entertainment.
• Counseled growth-stage and established businesses on brand clearance, intellectual property filings, licensing, and cross-border portfolio management.
• Led buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, including acquisitions and divestitures in the SaaS, car wash, real estate, and services sectors.
